Jonathan Scheer is the founder of J. Scheer & Co., a firm specializing in conservation cleaning and preservation of wedding gowns, modern couture, and historic costume.
His expertise in conservation cleaning treatments has contributed to textile collections exhibited at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, The Musee des arts decoratifs at the Louvre in Paris, and The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. He co-authored a paper on conservation cleaning treatments with Kathleen Kiefer, Visiting Textile Conservator at the Peabody Museum at Harvard University. He has also been a guest lecturer at the Conservation Center of the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University and the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Mr. Scheer attended Union College, where he received a B.A. in history. He also studied conservation science and care of museum collections at the Smithsonian Institution’s Conservation Analytical Laboratory, the Art Institute of Chicago, and The Campbell Center for Historic Preservation.

Sal Fernandez possesses over 30 years of experience and is dedicated to delivering high-quality cleaning and preservation services characterized by precision and care.
